Happy New Year to you all! We are looking forward to an exciting series of events throughout 2020 leading up to the 10th Chagford Film Festival in the last week of September.

Sadly, there will not be a Chagford Pantomime in February this year (Oh no there won’t!), so we are partly filling this void by showing the National Theatre Live production of One Man, Two Guvnors. The play stars James Corden and is a suitably chaotic, spontaneous yet well-orchestrated substitute for live pantomime and has been reviewed as “The Funniest Show on The Planet.”

This National Theatre Live production is still doing the rounds of the major cinemas, so we are very fortunate to be able to show it in Chagford now. Read more about the production here.

We have arranged two showings on Saturday 15th February in The Globe Cinema, Chagford:

  • A matinee at 2.30pm
  • An evening show at 7pm

Each show will last for three hours, with a generous interval.

Tickets are just £10 each, which is half of what some of the cinemas are charging and are on sale from Saturday 18th January at The Globe Inn and Sallys Newsagents (in Chagford). Be quick, as we expect this show to sell out!

“One of the most hilarious shows I have ever seen in a theatre”
