Forkbeard Fantasy presents ‘The Brittonioni Brothers’
- Date: Monday 24th September
- Time: 7.30pm
- Tickets: £10
- Types: Film screening, Performance
Forkbeard have made films to extend the possibilities of live theatre ever since they could afford the stock, uncovering varied and often ingenious ways of using it. In Forkbeard Fantasy’s first live appearance in five years, Chagford Film Festival is proud to limo in those fabulously brylcreemed jet-setting avant-garde film directors the Brittonioni Brothers to open this year’s festival.
More concerned with the cut of their trousers than the cut of their films, the Brothers will be screening a sizzling medley of filmic gems from their 40 year oeuvre, including ‘Rollerblind’, ‘The Drip’, ‘Boxmanship’ and ‘Who Shot the Cameraman?’ whilst slithering seamlessly from Reel to Real or – as it’s better known in the Biz- Crossing the Celluloid Divide.
Bar available from 7pm onwards
